Mufti Dr. Aziz Ur Rehman is a distinguished Shari'ah scholar and consultant, boasting a remarkable career of over 30 years in the fields of Islamic banking, finance, Takaful, and Halal services. Throughout his extensive career, he has worked across various institutions and geographies, holding senior roles such as Head of Shari'ah Audit at Noor Bank, Noor Takaful, and Digital Financial Services in Dubai, UAE. In these positions, he was responsible for ensuring Shari'ah compliance and advising on the structuring of Islamic financial transactions, demonstrating his expertise in Islamic finance and the application of Shari'ah principles in diverse financial contexts. Mufti Dr. Aziz Ur Rehman's professional journey also includes his roles as Shari'ah Auditor and Manager at Mawarid Group of Companies and positions at institutions such as Al Wifaq Finance, ISBG – Union National Bank, and Dar Al Istithmar in the UK.His academic achievements reflect a deep commitment to Islamic finance. Mufti Dr. Aziz Ur Rehman is in the final stages of completing his Ph.D. in Islamic Banking and Finance from the International Islamic University, Kuala Lumpur, and holds a Master’s degree in Islamic Banking and Finance from the University of Management and Technology, Lahore.
